Party Food Is Hard To Resist!
Kids party food is yummy! At birthday parties healthy eating general seems to go out the window and more often than not everyone dives in to some good old fashioned party food.
Nothing wrong with this, of course! Party food is part of the birthday party fun but here's a couple of tips to stop that party food from detracting from your child's special day.
Make sure the food table is as far away as possible from the children’s entertainment. Otherwise the children will end up grabbing the food during the party and this just disrupts flow of things. It also means they won’t be hungry come tea time!
That party food really is tough to resist! (For the adults too!)
Out of sight out of mind! Simply putting a tablecloth over the food and having it at the opposite side of the room than the focus of the party means that it won't be a constant distraction for the children.
It also means that when it comes to the time to eat everyone will have working up a decent appetite and the whole group can sit down and enjoy the party food together.
