Marc Wileman shares a few ideas with the Institute of Directors

It’s pretty rare that I do a presentation wearing a suit (not a lab coat!) and I didn’t even get to make a single batch of slime.

What I did get to do was to share a few ideas I’ve picked up in my journey going from a Prince’s Trust loan to making science awesome for half a million children and what I’ve learned along the way.

I talked Stoicism, Pareto, Mentality, Pessimism, Passion and the value of evidence based Socratic thinking. As well as shared some of my (many) mistakes made along the way and the lessons learned through them.

I (thankfully!) had some wonderful feedback and it’s a true privilege to help others out in a small way as so many (awesome!) people have helped and supported me along my journey.
